5.3 Replay

1) Select the memory location of the title to be
played, the internal flash memory "F", or an in-
serted memory card "C". The memory location
presently selected is shown in the display (4) at
the position (q).
After inserting a memory card, this card is
automatically selected as a memory location.
If desired, change the memory location:
press the button MODE (10) and then the but-
ton F/C (8).
2) Select the folder in which the title is memorized.
The folder presently selected is shown in the
display at the position (c).
To change between "FOLDER 1" and
"FOLDER 2", press the button MODE (10) and
then the button
3) Select the group of the title. The group
presently selected is shown in the display at the
position (i).
To select another group, press the button
MODE (10). "MODE" (d) is displayed and the
group can now be selected with the buttons

(13). To return to the title selection,
press the button MODE again. "MODE" is no
longer displayed.
4) Select the title number with the buttons
. It is shown in the display at position (j). In
addition, the recording format (a), the sampling
rate (b), and the playing time (r) of the selected
title is visible.
5) Start the replay with the button
replay symbol (m) is displayed. The time
elapsed since the start of the title is shown in
the display at the position (r).
6) To interrupt the replay, press the button
(18). Instead of the replay symbol the pause
symbol (n) is now displayed.
To continue the replay, press the button
again or start the replay of the following or pre-
vious title by pressing the button
7) While replaying, it is possible to go to the fol-
lowing or previously reserved title number by
shortly pressing the buttons
buttons are pressed for a longer time, a fast for-
ward or reverse run within the title takes place.
8) For replaying any desired section within a title
as a loop, press the button A–B (16) at the be-
ginning of this section while replaying; "A" (o) is
displayed. If the end of the section is reached,
press the button again. The section is now per-
manently repeated, and "A–B" is displayed.

stopped; the replay is normally continued, and
"A–B" is no longer displayed.
9) To stop the replay, press the button STOP (10).
If no repeat function is selected [indication
"REP" or "REP ALL" (e),
replay automatically stops with the title
presently playing.
Changing the replay volume
With the buttons VOL+
volume for the speaker (14) and the headphone
connection
change, a corresponding value for the adjustment
(0 – 20) is displayed for some seconds instead of
the title number (j).
This adjustment does not affect the level of the
output LINE OUT (15).
5.4 Deleting a title
To delete a selected title:
1) Press the button MODE (10); "MODE" (d) is
displayed.
2) Press the button DEL (16). Now
the display at the position of the playing time (r).
3) To confirm press the button DEL again. Now
is shortly shown in the display at the
position of the playing time (r) and then
"00:00:00" as the playing time of the title. The
title has been deleted. Now in "FOLDER 1" the
title number is available for a new recording. In
"FOLDER 2" the title number remains unoccu-
pied until switching-off. When switching-on
again, this "gap" is closed because the follow-
ing titles advance in rank.
5.5 Adjustments of the unit
1) If required, stop a current recording or replay

justments of the unit, press the button MENU
