Please read this instruction manual before using the device for the first
time and comply with it. Retain this instruction manual for future
reference or for subsequent owners.
WARNING - Prior to the first start-up, it is definitely necessary to read
the Safety instructions!
In case you do not adhere to this instruction manual, this may result in damage on
the device and cause dangerous situations for the operator and other people. In
case of transport damage inform your vendor immediately.
Note
It is not allowed to modify the device or to manufacture additional tools.
Such modifications can cause injuries and malfunctions.
Warning
Check the tester is in good working condition before use by testing it in
a known correctly wired socket of distribution board.
If the tester indicates a fault condition in the wiring under test, always investi-

gate the wiring or have the wiring investigated by a competent person
Do not contact accross two phases of a three phase supply

The tester will not correctly test circuits using isolation transformer
■
Before testing, disconnect any loads from the circuits of all socket outlet in same
■
distribution board as possible with the socket under test. Some loads connected
may lead to measuring error.
Check the RCD trigger function in an known correctly circuit with RCD before
■
used
When using the Tester, if tip does not glow, voltage could still be present. The
■
Tester indicates active voltage in the presence of electrostatic fields of sufficient
strength generated from the source (MAINS) voltage.
