Safety information
z Before to use this instrument the User manual and Safety information must be read and
understood
z It should be checked that the item to be measured is voltage free
z Do not connect or disconnect the test leads during the measurement
z Before starting the measurements, be sure that the battery is well charged and that the line
voltage is between specified limits
z The panel, terminals and connectors of the equipment must stay dry and clean
z Only use parts supplied by the manufacturer
z Only use accessories supplied by the manufacturer. Using accessories / test leads not
provided by the manufacturer may compromise the equipment safety
z Inspect the equipment and cables before each use. If any malfunction or damage is found
that could compromise the safety of the equipment, do not use it and contact the service
center
z If you use this equipment other than as specified in the User manual, the protection it
provides may be compromised, thereby endangering you
z Taking out the panel in order to have access to the internal parts may be dangerous as there
are high voltages inside. Electric shock hazard
z Do not use the equipment near explosive gases, vapors, or in damp or wet environments
