1. Fully immerse the seal in a cleaning solution or detergent that is
formulated to dissolve protinaceous material. Follow the manufacturer's

dishwashing detergents, skin cleansers, or any other cleaning agent not
designed to dissolve protein. Avoid using chemical or abrasive cleaners
that could damage silicone.
2. Rinse all components thoroughly in warm tap water to remove all traces
of cleaning solution. Towel dry.
3. Sterilize in a steam autoclave using the following parameters:
Temperature:
Exposure:
Post-Sterilization Drying Time
Every steam autoclave cycle should be followed immediately by a complete drying
cycle. Follow reprocessing guides, such as AAMI TIR12, to select drying times
that are appropriate for the cycle and sterilization equipment selected. Typical
dry times are 15 to 30 minutes. After the cycle ensure there is no evidence of
moisture on or within the sterilized package, container, wrap, or tray.
