Description
The reusable silicone seals fit over the biopsy port of endoscopes to seal off
the working channel. Some contain a lumen which allows instruments to be
passed through the seal and minimize or prevent fluid leakage during endoscopic
procedures.
The table below lists part numbers and compatible instrument sizes:

NOTE: Passing other than the compatible sizes specified in the table above may
damage seal integrity or reduce seal performance.
Intended Use
The reusable silicone seals are intended to maintain a fluid-tight seal around
interventional and diagnostic devices during use.
Caution
Read manufacturer's instructions for the use of endoscopes and accessories
used with the seal.
Instructions For Use
1. Connect the seal to the luer fitting on an endoscope and verify proper
sealing ability
2. Advance the guide wire, catheter or other device through the seal into the
desired position. This should form a fluid-tight seal, yet does not inhibit
movement of the device.
NOTE: Seals may be reprocessed until they appear damaged or no longer
maintain a fluid-tight seal.
