A 1 Cross Bar
B 1 L.H. Side Bracket
C 1 R.H. Side Bracket
D 4 M12 x 30 x 1.25p Bolts, Lock Washers
E 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75p Bolts, and Serrated Flanged Nuts
ZE 1 Retractable Electrical
ZN 1 3022 series Neck Kit
This tow bar must be used with either a Witter Tow ball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X tow ball, which dimensionally
conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the tow bar.
FITTING
Remove securing screws from the rear half of each wheel arch liner.
1.
Remove the large plastic retaining washers from the inside face of each wheel arch.
2.
Pull edge of wheel arch outwards to gain access to the mounting points on each chassis rail.
3.
Remove plastic under tray from nearside end of bumper.
4.
Loosely assemble Side Arms (B & C) to the outside face of each chassis rail using fasteners (D)
5.
Remove the securing clips along the bottom edge of the bumper.
6.
7. Pull down the bottom edge of the bumper and insert the Cross Bar (A) into the bottom of the bumper cavity.
Loosely attach to Side Arms (B & C) using fasteners (E).
8.
Assemble the chosen Neck (ZN) and Electrical Plate (ZE) to Cross Bar (A) using fasteners in the Neck and Electrical
9.
Plate kits.
10. Fully tighten all fasteners.
11. Refit each wheel arch liner and all fasteners securing the wheel arch and bumper bottom edge.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
