If the insert is worn, it should be replaced:

6 MAINTENANCE
 Always clean the machine after every machining operation.
 Always ensure that the power tool and its ventilation slots are clean.
 The machine and its accessories should always be stored and transported in their
original packaging.
 Maintenance operations should be done by qualified personnel using original
replacement parts.
 Before performing any work on the machine, always unplug the machine.
 It is essential to keep the machine clean in order to optimize its performance.
 Don't leave the machine in a detrimental, dirty, or humid environment.
It is essential that foreign bodies not be placed in the swivelling system of the machine.
It is recommended that the brush provided be used to clean the machine.
Clean thoroughly and check that there are no cuttings before doing any work on the
machine.
We recommend a disassembly and lubrication of moving parts by qualified personnel
every year.

o before doing anything, unplug the DC221
o Remove the protection part of the DC221.
o Use a suitable Torx screwdriver and loosen the insert screw.
o Change or turn the insert through 180°.
o Re-tighten the screw.
o Plug the DC221.
Never be clean with pressurised air.
