3 ELECTRIC MOTOR
3.1 Special safety instructions:
Before using power tools, please carefully read all the AXXAIR and METABO safety
instructions.
Retain all the documentation supplied with power tools.
If you lend your power tools to anyone, make sure that they also receive this
documentation.
3.2 Selecting the direction of rotation:
When using the DC221, the switch
must be as shown in the photograph
below.
3.3 Mechanical speed selector:
NOTE: changeover should not take place under a full load or at maximum speed.
This will extend the machine's life.
Moving the switching slide.
1 = Slow rotation speed, high torque.
2 = High rotation speed. Recommended using position
This speed can be adjusted by the second speed selector
