The special decoder can be used in the Villa Kit Ref.1060/601 to activate electrical loads by means of
double exchange relays that can be operated in two modes:
•
Bistable.
•
Toggle timed.
Possible applications include: Switching staircase light on, operating supplementary lock, opening gates,
etc. The load can be controlled directly, since this is a power relay (see technical specifi cations).
The special decoder programming can take place while the system confi guration wizard is running (wizard
control from Max monitor) or later on, e.g. if it is installed at a later stage (in this case, access to the
confi guration page is password-protected, see the Villa Kit manual). In any case, you can confi gure:
•
names of outputs (relays)
•
operation mode (Toggle or Single stable timed functions)
•
events that operate outputs: incoming call from calling station and door opening
After confi guration completion, the relays can be tested locally and operated from the Max monitor.
The special decoder is equipped with two external buttons which can only activate a pre-set relay.
PB1 → OUT1
PB2 → OUT2
The device is powered by POE, but it's possible to add an external power supply fro emergency situation in
order to ensure the device operation also if the system doesn't work (in this case the relay can be activated
only by the external button).
The product is designed to be powered by external power supplies with outputs up to the specifi ed
power source requirements (LPS) and protected against short circuits and overcurrents according to
EN 60950-1:2006+A11+A1+A12+A2 provisions.
