Undervoltage and overvoltage
Regardless of the position in which the BSWM has
been configured, the BSWM will always switch off
if the voltage is under 11.6 V or above 17.0 V for a
short period. The BSWM will again be reset if the
voltage again falls within the range of 11.8 and
16.8 V during 5 seconds.
Start-Assist
Regardless of the setting the BSWM has been
configured to, it will always switch on if a voltage is
set on the Start-Assist pin. The relay will continue
to be switched on as long as there is voltage on the
pin. The BSWM will always switch off 30 seconds
after the voltage has been removed from this pin.
After which, the BSWM will operate as if it has just
been connected.
CONFIGURE
The BSWM has three settings that can be
configured:
1. The sensitivity of the vibration detection
2. The voltage
3. The time that the BSWM remains switched on
after detecting the last vibration.
Once the configuration connection of the BSWM
(CONFIG connection) is connected to the positive
(+) terminal of the primary battery for 4 seconds,
the LED will blink once. When this happens, the
connection must be broken.
This same connection must briefly be made again
to set the correct configuration – the LED will light
up as feedback. This means that configuration #1
has been selected. If the user briefly makes the
connection again, configuration #2 will have been
selected, etc.
When there has been no connection between the
configuration connection and the positive terminal
(+) of the primary battery for 4 seconds, the LED will
again display the set position.
(Example: Configuration #4 has been set by the user,
the LED will flash 4 times.)
