Operation
The appliance has electronic sensors that activate when you touch the buttons on the control panel. The appliance makes a
sound when a control is touched.
Caution:
Only use pans that are suitable for an induction appliance. Refer to section
PREPARING FOR OPERATION
1. Clean the appliance before operation. Use a damp cloth.
MAXIMUM POWER
The appliance has a maximum power of 3500 watts. The power will be divided between all four cooking zones. It is possible
that the maximum available power for the cooking zones together is exceeded. This can cause switching of the power between
the cooking zones. In that case, the power of the second cooking zone will be decreased automatically. When you use three or
four cooking zones at once, the power level will decrease even further down.
The corresponding operation indicator will flash to show necessary power reduction. It flashes for 3 seconds and during that
time further adaptations of the setting are allowed before the power is automatically reduced.
NOTE: when you have one cooking zone on power level 9, you can add a second cooking zone on maximum power
level 8. When another cooking zone is added, the power levels of the other two cooking zones will further decrease.
STARTING THE APPLIANCE
1. Touch the on/off button to start the appliance. The indicators show "-"/ "--".
Note:
If you do not select a cooking zone within 1 minute, the appliance automatically switches off.
USING A COOKING ZONE
Selecting a cooking zone
1. Put a pan on the cooking zone.
2. Use the up button to increase the power level. The operation indicator shows the set power level.
3. Use the down button to decrease the power level. The operation indicator shows the set power level.
Note:
If you do not select a power level within 1 minute, the appliance automatically switches off.
