For making a recording. the LIN E INPUT CH 1
and LIN E INPUT CH 2 must be connec ted to a
signal source (amplifier.
tape recorder. mixing
console) or, on models w ith built-in micro-
phone amplifier (Option; MIC/L1NE SWITCH
BOARD 1.777.520.00). the micro phones
should be connected to the MIC INPUT CH 1
and M IC INPUT CH
2.
• M ount the lape.
• Set the input selector to LINE (31). or to MIC
[291
if the recordi ng is made via the micro-
phones .
• Set the output selectors 01 both c hannels. or
01 the channel to be used for rec ording, to
INPUT 125/34) .
• The VU-m eters [ 23/ 32] indicate the level of
the Input signal. If the level is
100
low or
100
hIgh, press the UNCAL [30J to sWitch to unca-
libra ted operation (always automatically acti-
vated in M IC m ode) . and adjust the inpu t level
by mea ns of Ihe levet potenliOmelers INPUT
CH 1 [ 28J and INPUT CH 2 (37J
