If the appliance is turned off for any reason, wait for 10 minutes before turning it back on. This will
allow the refrigeration system pressures to equalise before restarting.
Energy saving tips
For the most energy efficient use of your appliance:
Ensure your refrigerator freezer has adequate ventilation as recommended in the installation
instructions.
Allow warm food and drinks to cool down before placing in the appliance.
Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator compartment and use the low temperature of the frozen food to
cool refrigerated food
Keep door openings to a minimum.
Open the appliance as briefly as possible.
Regularly defrost the refrigerator freezer to remove the layer of frost.
Ensure that the fridge and freezer doors are always closed properly..
DEFROSTING
This appliance is equipped with a frost free system.
This system enables the freezer compartment to remain permanently ice-free, however, the food stored
in the freezer drawers will not defrost.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Upon installation of your new appliance, it is recommended to clean it thoroughly.
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
1. Take out the food and store in a cool location.
2. Remove all removable parts, such as shelves, vegetables containers, drawers etc.
3. Use a soft damp cloth or paper towel to clean the interior and exterior including all
different drainage area and water evacuation port.
4. Wipe up spills in the fridge and freezer compartment with a damp cloth
immediately.
Use a mild cleanser such as dish detergent or use either some baking soda or
vinegar to clean the splash area.
Place a small amount of detergent, vinegar, or baking soda in a bowl and add
warm water to it. Dip a towel or cloth into the cleaning solution and wash the
inside of your appliance.
5. Clean the removable parts using a clean sponge or soft cloth in warm soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly before replacing them.
