This product should be installed by a licensed
professional plumber.
This product is for use with drinking water only.
Do not allow the streams of the shower touch sensitive
body parts (such as your eyes). An adequate distance
must be kept between the shower and you.
The shower may only be used for bathing, hygiene
and body cleaning purposes
THIS PRODUCT MUST NOT BE USED AS A
GRAB BAR. If a grab bar is required, install one
separately.
Refer to the Cleaning Recommendations on page
20 when selecting a cleaning agent for this
product. Do not use cleaning products containing
chlorine bleach, lye, hydrochloric acid, formic acid,
acetic acid, or abrasives.
Failure to follow these instructions may
result in product failure and property
damage, and may void the warranty.
Installation Considerations
• Read over these instructions thoroughly before
beginning installation. Make sure that you have all
tools and supplies needed to complete the installation.
• Inspect the product for shipping damage before
installation. Claims for shipping damage made after
the product is installed will not be honored.
• This trim is for use with rough valve model 06646000
(not included).

• Protection against backflow is provided by a check
valve in the handshower elbow and by an automatically
resetting diverter.
• The showerhead is for use with an automatically
compensating valve rated at 1.3 GPM (4.9 L/min) or
less.
• This unit is not anti-scald. In Massachusetts, or if
required by local plumbing code, install an approved
water temperature limiting device conforming to ASSE
1070 (not available from Hansgrohe).
• To prevent scald injury, the maximum output
temperature of the shower valve must be no higher than
120°F (49°C). In Massachusetts, the maximum output
temperature can be no higher than 112°F (44°C).
• Keep this booklet and the receipt (or other proof of
date and place of purchase) for this product in a safe
place. The receipt is required should it be necessary to
request warranty parts.
