when installing wiring harness
14. Route the black 12 ga. wire thru the slit grommet into the inside of
the body. Connect the other end of the black 12 ga. wire to the black
power wire located on the T-One® Connector's black box, using the
yellow heat shrinkable butt connector (provided).
15. Reconnect the vehicle's Negative (-) battery cable and install
the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder from step 11.
Read and follow all warnings and cautions printed on the tow vehicle's
battery. All connections must be complete for the T-One® Connector to
function properly. Test and verify installation with a test light or trailer
once installed. For initial test, reset vehicle electrical system by
temporarily removing the key from the ignition.
Heat the Shrinkable butt connector using a heat gun. Starting in
the center of the splice connector. Heat Shrinkable butt connector
from the center out to the edges on each end until the tubing
shrinks and sealant flows. Allow to cool before inspecting the
splice.

16. Add silicone rubber (not included) to seal grommet where it was slit to route the
yellow and green wires. Ensure the silicone and grommet make a tight seal to
prevent moisture or dirt from coming inside the vehicle.
17. Reinstall any other items that may have been removed during installation, being
careful not to pinch or cut the wires.
Note:
Route the 4-Flat Connector through the driver's side panel and threshold into the
storage compartment; store there when not in use.
Overloading circuits can cause fires. DO NOT exceed stated product ratings. Read
vehicle's owner's manual & instruction sheet for additional information
