WHEEL
• All wheels are manufactured in galvanised steel.
• Manipulation by any means of the wheel or motor
EN
may result in imbalance and damage to motor.
• Any alteration to the product by any means will in-
validate the S&P warranty.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
• IFHT Jet Fans have been designed to withstand one
off emergency exposure to the stated High Tempe-
rature / time duration:
− F300/F200: 200ºC / 120 mins
− F300/F200: 300ºC / 120 mins
− F400: 400°C / 120 mins
The range has been tested and independently certi-
fied by the Applus laboratory under the EN 12101-3
Standards.
• When starting up the unit, ensure that the wheel
rotates in the correct direction as indicated by the
arrow next to the inlet guard, amps are within rated
levels and there are no abnormal vibration levels
or noise. Check the unit's vibration, amp and noise
levels, and that all fixings are properly tightened
again after running for 2h.
• If any of the electrical safety devices jump, the unit
must be quickly disconnected from the mains su-
pply. The installation should be carefully checked
before trying to start up the unit again.
MAINTENANCE
• Before conducting any maintenance or cleaning of
the fan ensure that the unit is disconnected from
the mains electrical supply.
• Fans for emergency High Temperature smoke
operation may provide a critical life saving function
and thus should be inspected and maintained un-
der a verifiable maintenance system in accordan-
ce with these instructions and as per applicable
regulations. We recommend Jet Fan is inspected
and cleaned regularly, at least every 6 months, to
ensure safe operation.
• Ensure that there is no build-up of dirt or debris on
the motor or wheel which could impede cooling or
cause imbalance.
• Motor bearings are greased for life, and have an
approximate life expectancy of 20.000 h. In order
to guarantee proper lubrication, the fan must be
activated, or the wheel manually rotated during ex-
tended stocking, every two weeks.

PUTTING OUT OF SERVICE AND RECYCLING
EEC legislation and our consideration of
future generations mean that we should
always recycle materials where possible;
please do not forget to deposit all packa-
ging in the appropriate recycling bins. If
your device is also labeled with this sym-
bol, please take it to the nearest Waste Management
Plant at the end of its servicable life.
The unit is mainly made of steel, copper, ferrite, alu-
minium, plastic and rockwool. These components
should be recycled in the following categories:
− Steel and iron
− Aluminium
− Non-ferrous metals
− Plastics
− Insulating materials
− Cables
− Electronic scrap
S&P reserves the right to alter specifications without
prior notice.
