Adjusting the gripping range
The gripping range adjustment must be set equally on both sides of the device. Otherwise there is a
danger of the gripping material slipping off. Risk of accident!
The adjustment of the gripping range to the corresponding pipe outside diameter is done as follows:
1. Measuring the outer diameter of the pipe
2. Remove the cotter pin (see detailed picture in Fig. 2) from the adjusting crank (C)
3. remove the adjusting crank (C) from the device (Fig. 2)
4. Turn the locking flap (D) upwards on the adjusting screw (E)
5. Adjust the grab range to the material to be grabbed (concrete pipe) with the adjusting crank (C) via the
adjusting screws (E) (Fig. 3)
6. Turn the locking flap (D) downwards on the adjusting screw (E)
