Cleaning
White build-ups and floating substances or discoloration of inner pot's
surface are caused by minerals in water, not due to erosion or color
change of inner pot itself. Although this will not affect your health,
regular cleaning is suggested.
Inner Pot / Inner Lid
Clean with a soft sponge, and then rinse with water.
The extent of build-up and stain depends on the quality of water and
usage. Clean the unit once every one to three months, white vinegar
can be used to remove build-up:
.
When mineral build-up is ignored, boiling sound becomes louder,
and may affect the unit's performance. Please clean properly.
.
Do not immerse the unit in water. Do not wash the entire unit.
.
Do not wet the control panel, this can cause damage to the unit.
Upper Lid / Casing
Wipe clean with soft, damp cloth.
Do not immerse the unit in water, do not wash the entire unit, and
do not dry unit upside-down (water may seep into electrical
components and cause damage or corrosion).
