Important Information
To prevent a "Vacuum" situation:
A vacuum situation is when only a small amount of water can be
dispensed, or none at all, and noise of electric pump becomes
louder. This is due to bubbles being produced during the boiling
process, if you dispense water while water is boiling, by using the
Auto Pump, all the air bubbles will create a "vacuum" within the unit.
To prevent this situation:
Wait until the boiling process is completely done.
When only a little bit of water can be dispensed by using Auto
Pump, release the button and wait for a few minutes, to allow
the air bubbles to escape.
Do not clean the unit with the following:
Detergents – can create odor inside the unit and affect taste of water
Steel wool, wire or nylon brush – can scratch the inner pot or lid
Dish washer – will cause unit to deform
Thinner or petroleum-based chemicals – can scratch inner pot or lid.
When not planning to use for a long period of time:
Clean unit as directed under Cleaning and Maintenance
Let dry completely.
Seal tightly with plastic bag and original packaging.
Store in a cool, dry place
Replacing the Gasket
The gasket undergoes wear and tear, and should be replaced when
necessary to guarantee the unit's performance. When steam is
escaping around the upper lid, it is an indication that the gasket needs
to be replaced.

Detaching the inner lid gasket:
1.
Loosen the 3 screws (Do not separate inner lid from upper lid. If
separated, do not lose the screws and disc.
2.
Remove inner lid gasket.
Installation
1.
Fix gasket securely to inner lid's circumference.
2.
Fasten the screws tightly (do not over tighten)
If inner lid is detached, please install disc before installing the
inner lid.
