Cause
- Dirt trap screen dirty
- Jet former dirty
- CO2 cartridge/cylinder is empty
- CO2 pressure set too low (2 kg cylinder)
- CO2 cartridge / cylinder not completely screwed in - Completely screw in CO2 cartridge / cylinder
- Dispensing temperature too high
- Low water hardness / unfavourable filter type
- CO2 pressure set too low (2 kg cylinder)
- CO2 cartridge removed during flushing or cleaning. - Draw and dispose of 1 litre of soda water after
- Power supply disturbed
- Fuse blown
- CO2 cartridge/cylinder low
- CO2 cartridge/cylinder is empty
- A partially full CO2 cartridge/cylinder was inserted
or fill level not immediately reset at time of
replacement
- Seal of CO2 pressure reducer defective
- Service life of the filter soon reached
- Service life of the filter exceeded
- Chemical cleaning required due to 6 month cycle or
long period of non-use
- Power failure. Power supply disturbed.
- Mains connection not plugged in correctly.
- Water supply interrupted
- Power failure, power supply disturbed
- Connection cable not plugged in correctly
- Water supply interrupted
- No connection between tap and SodaBase
- Water inlet has been connected to the hot water line - Connect water inlet to cold water pipe
flushing, water dispensing, portioned water dispensing, etc.

Remedy
- Clean the dirt trap screen in the T-piece
- Clean the jet former
- Change CO2 cartridge/cylinder. (see page 73)
- Increase CO2 pressure to 0.4 MPa (4 bar) (external
cylinders only)
- Lower the dispensing temperature if possible
- Increase the water hardness if possible (e.g. adjust
water softening system, where necessary use a
mineralisation filter
- Increase CO2 pressure to 0.4 MPa (4 bar) (external
cylinders only)
chemical cleaning
- Insert mains plug into socket
- Check plug at the back of the device
- Pull out the mains plug and replace the fuse with a
new one of the same value.
- Ensure availability of new CO2 cartridge/cylinder
- Change CO2 cartridge/cylinder
- Insert new CO2 cartridge/cylinder and reset level on
SodaBase
- Replace the seal on the pressure reducer
- Have a new filter ready
- Replace filter
- Carry out chemical cleaning
- Chemical cleaning was interrupted. Restart chemical
cleaning (see page 76)
- Restart flushing process (press filter key briefly)
- Check connection cable and plug in correctly
