When the surrounding temperature is 25℃ and the wine cooler has no bottle
loaded, it will take around 2h00 to increase the wine cooler's temperature
from 5℃ to 12℃. Under the same circumstance, it will take around 2h00 to
decrease the wine cooler's temperature from 12℃ to 5℃. The less the
temperature span is, the less time it will take. The setting temperature of
upper zone should be lower than the setting temperature of lower zone.
5. EQUIPMENT
The ventilation system: charcoal filter
Pure air continually changed and filtered.
Your Climadiff wine cellar is equipped with a continuous fresh air system, filtered by a
charcoal filter. This is a 5 cm diameter black plastic washer in the top left of the cellar at the
back. It should be replaced annually and can be bought from the accessories section of the
web site at www.climadiff.com.
Replacing the activated charcoal filter: it must be absolutely replaced once a
year. You can see it from the inside as well as from the outside. It is located
in the upper right corner at the bottom of the wine cellar.
Push the charcoal filter from the outside of your wine cellar in order to remove it from inside
the appliance. The hole visible in the rear lower section is normal and provides negative
pressure, to ensure internal air circulation.
CAUTION! The filter is inserted in a plastic part. Do not try to remove all the parts,
ONLY the filter. Pulling or pushing the plastic receptacle may be not reparable as
foamed in the body.
The anti-vibration system
Wine does not like to be disturbed. It especially dislikes vibration. This is why your wine
cellar's slow-cycle compressor is mounted on special shock absorbers called "silent blocks".
Likewise, the inner container is insulated from the body by a thick layer of polyurethane foam
which also has the particular feature of absorbing vibration.
