The PIR sensor reacts slower to motion when there is a high ambient temperature or when the motion is directly towards the
camera. This can be compensated by selection of the software based pixel change detection.
The detection via pixel change can be activated only after the corresponding detection area has been set..
[55] Set the area for motion detection via pixel change
Select the desired camera and click until the image is dsplayed with a 3x3 grid. Click on an area until a yellow „V" symbol appears
(area activated) or disappears (area deactivated). After setting it is possible to test the detection in this display: by successful detection
the yellow „V" turns red.
Factory setting: all areas of all cameras activated
Note: Motion detection via pixel change will not activate if the camera is set to „PIR" only
The detection area can be set only for activated cameras.

Recording period after motion detection
Select between 30, 60 and 120 seconds (Factory setting: 30s)
Note:
Alarm sound upon motion detection
Select alarm sound via monitor /TV „Off" or for 5 or 10 seconds. (Factory setting: 5s)
Alarm sound upon loss of camera signal
Select alarm sound via monitor /TV „Off" or for 5 or 10 seconds when the smart recorder loses a camera signal, eg. power
loss to the camera. (Factory setting: 5s)

Recording selection
For a selection of not all cameras [60] in the current month, click once with the right mouse button and select with the arrows [59] the
desired month / year. Recordings will be indicated by a red star [61].
Select in the top row, camera 1 – 4 or all cameras.
Select a day marked with a star. Now max. 4 files will be visible which contain recorded data for that day (00:00 to 05:59 / 06:00 to 11:59
/ 12:00 to 17:59 / 18:00 to 23:59). If 4 cameras are selected there will be max. 16 files.
Select the desired file. All recordings in the period will be shown. The name of the recording, eg. 124835_2.avi, designates a recording
which began at 12:48 and 35 seconds, and from which camera, in this case 2. If a recording has not yet been viewed „new" will show on
the right.
Playing a recording
• Click on the recording. At the bottom of the screen in the middle the date and time of the recording will be displayed.
• To freeze the image press the right mouse button, continue playing by clicking on „II" and ·.
• To rewind click on ¶¶.
• To fast forward click on ··.

Note about display of recordings:
Delete / copy of recordings
To delete a recording, select it and then click on „Del" in the lower bar.
To delete a file of recordings firstly delete all the individual recordings and then the file by clicking on the „Del" on the file side.
To copy a recording from one storage to another, select the recording and then add a tick with the mouse in the left box, and then click on
„copy".
Note:
Recordings can only be copied when both a microSD card is inserted and a USB storage device is connected
Copied recordings can only be viewed through a PC. They cannot be displayed in the Event list.
If motion is detected again, within the duration, the recording time is prolonged.

If only one camera is activated the replay is in full screen

f more than one camera are activated the reco ding is displayed in smart quad mode. The recording is
large and on the right the live images can be viewed.
The audio from the recording is played.
Click on the large image to change between full screen and smart quad display.
