Cause
The engine does not start:
• There's no fuel in the carburetor;
• There's no fuel in the tank;
Fuel line hose is clogged;
Fuel line hose incorrectly assembled or folded;
• The fuel in the tank is of poor quality, has water, is
dirty or is already old;
• The cap is off the spark plug;
Ignition cable is not properly connected;
• The spark plug has soot or is damaged; Wrong
distance between the electrodes;
• The air filter is dirty;
• The fuel filter is clogged;
• The combustion engine is "wet" due to many
attempts for starting it;
Low performance:
• Improper fuel mixture;
• Improper throttle cable adjustment;
• Fuel filter or valves are clogged, carburetor defect;
The engine runs irregularly and smokes:
• The air filter is dirty;
The combustion engine overheats:
• Ventilation slots are dirty;
Strong vibrations while operating:
• Loose engine housing;
The saw chain does not rotate:
• Check that the safety brake is not engaged;
The guide bar and the saw chain overheat:
• Lack of oil in the tank;
• Saw chain is too tight;
• Obstruction in the lubricating nozzle;
Chain brake lever does not work:
• Faulty mechanism;
Solution
• Press the carburetor primer bulb several times until
it is full of fuel;
• Fill the tank with fuel;
Clean the fuel line hose;
Place the fuel hose correctly or straighten it;
• Empty the fuel tank and carburetor primer bulb;
Use new fuel (proper mixture).
• Fit the cap into the spark plug;
Check the connection between the ignition cable
and the plug;
• Clean / replace the spark plug;
Adjust the distance between the electrodes;
• Clean / replace the air filter;
• Clean the fuel filter;
• Loosen the spark plug and dry it, pull the recoil
starter several times with the spark plug unscrewed;
• Use appropriate fuel mixture;
• Adjust the throttle cable;
• Replace or repair faulty parts;
• Clean / replace the air filter;
• Clean the ventilation slots;
• Fasten the engine fixing screws;
• Pull towards the engine;
• Fill;
• Release a little;
• Clean the nozzle;
• Contact an authorized service center;
