4. LED's and switches on
internal unit
On the internal unit the following LED's
and switches should be noted:
N. Light display: This lights up green when
the unit is in operation.
P. LED: Lights up yellow if the timer is
activated.
Q. LED: Lights up red if one of the system
protective units has actuated.
R. Operating switch: This switch is located
behind the cover flap, and it is used to
adjust the following operational modes:
"Normal": Setting mode for normal
operation.
"Emer": If the remote control is lost or
damaged, it is possible to retain emergency
operation of the air-conditioning system
with this mode. In emergency operation,
the system will function under the
following conditions:
- Automatic mode
- Switching temperature 23 °C
- Medium air volume
- No timer function
"Test": This setting may only be used by
qualified personnel.

4.1 Notes regarding the LED's
- If the N. LED is flashing, this indicates a
fault in the unit.
- If the Timer LED P is flashing, the power
supply has been interrupted during
programming.
- If the LED Q lights up, a protective unit
has actuated. The unit which has been
actuated does not indicate a unit or
system fault. After a specific period of
time, the system will change back to
normal operating mode (see Section 7).

5. Description of functions of the
remote control
For the air-conditioning system to
operate perfectly, the system needs
to be configured (see Assembly
Instructions).
Button B
ON/OFF
If the air-conditioning system is switched
off, the remote control display will only
show the current time.
When button B is actuated, the air-
conditioning system will switch on, and the
last values to be recorded will be displayed.
The LED N on the cassette shows normal
operating mode. The system will operate
on the basis of the stored values. To
switch the unit off, press button B for at
least 2 seconds. The current time will be
shown on the display.
5.1 Adjusting the operating mode
Button D
By using this button, the various different
operating modes of the system can be
selected, although the heating function can
only be implemented with external cooling
and heating units. When button D is
actuated, the different operating modes
will be shown on the display one after
another, and the function of the system
which has been selected will be carried
out with the aid of the acoustic signal.

Cooling and dehumidifying
Heating (only with
external cooling and
heating units)
Automatic
The air-conditioning selects
the operating mode
(cooling/ventilation and
heating) by itself, in order
to maintain the setpoint
temperature which has
been set.
Dehumidifying
In this mode, moisture is
removed from the indoor
air, without any excessive
reduction in room
temperature.
Ventilation
Circulation operation
without temperature
change.
5.2 Adjusting desired room
