Compliance
To safely produce domestic hot water, the design and construction of the CAWH water
heaters is in accordance with:
•
the European Directive 2014/35/EU on low voltage appliances (LVD)
•
the European Directive 2014/30/EU on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
•
the European Directives 2011/65/EU and 2015/863/EU on RoHS II and RoHS III
•
the European Directive 2009/125/EC on Ecological Design (ErP)
Refer to the appendix Declaration of conformity.
Regulations
As installer, service engineer, maintenance engineer or user, you have to make sure that
the entire water heater installation complies with the local:
•
regulations applicable to building constructions
•
directives for existing electrical installations, supplied by your energy supplier
•
directives for (electrical) installations and related practice guidelines
•
directives for drinking water
•
directives for waste water disposal in buildings
•
directives that are supplied by the fire brigade, power companies and the
municipality
The installation must comply with the installation requirements of the manufacturer.
Note
For all regulations, requirements and guidelines supplements or later modifications
and/or additions at the time of installation are applicable.
