OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Function
ON/OFF Turns scale on and off.
ZERO/TARE Zeroes or tares the scale prior to a weighing.
Holds the weight value of the patient on the display until the button is
HOLD/RELEASE
pressed again to clear the value.
Prompts entry of height data to calculate patient's Body Mass Index
BMI
(BMI).
UNIT Toggles between pounds (LB) and kilograms (KG). (499KL only)
Clears the incorrect height input when in BMI mode. Exits out of a
CLEAR
mode or process.

Increases height input (0.5 in / 0.5 cm increments)
▼
Decreases height input (0.5 in / 0.5 cm increments)
Accepts height value in BMI mode. Toggles between values in options
ENTER/SELECT
mode.
