acter position, the unit goes to the line "Freq" with
the button "P-".
Freq. = receiving frequency; it can be changed in
steps of 0.25 MHz. Then the AFC (automatic fre-
quency control) is switched off. In case of a poor
receiving quality the unit continuously switches
between blue background and received picture
and back to improve the readability.
Channel = receiving channel (also see table on
page 13). If the channel number is changed, the
AFC will be switched off at the same time.
AFC = automatic frequency contro; if it is switched
on, the receiver will automatically adjust itself
exactly to the transmitter in the range of ±2 MHz.
Video = selection of the video signal polarity
normal polarity according to standard
inverse the video signal is inverted; this function
can be used for encoded transmission if
the wireless camera is also able to trans-
mit the video signal in an inverted way
Antenna = selection of an external antenna (se-
lection of antenna 1 or 2 is only useful in case of
receivers with two antenna jacks)
passive 1 or 2
for antennas without preamplifier
active 1 or 2
for antennas with preamplifier; the oper-
ating voltage for the active antenna is
present at the antenna jack (16)
AV-Rel. = with perfect picture reception the relay
contacts "AV channel" (14) are closed (setting
"n.c.") or opened (setting "n.o.").
SW-Rel. = If the control channel is activated at the
transmitter or at the wireless camera, the relay
contacts "switching channel" (14) are closed (set-
ting "n.c.") or opened (setting "n.o.").
Starting from this menu line, the second menu
page is called with the button "P-" (6).
– second menu page –
Audio = switching the audio reproduction on or off
Signal = internal signal buzzer
off
The buzzer is switched off.
AV
The buzzer shortly sounds as soon as a
picture is perfectly received.
SW
The buzzer shortly sounds when activat-
ing the control channel at the transmitter
(if available, see operating instructions of
the transmitter).
"AV" and "SW" can be selected at the same time.
Auto = automatic switching mode (chapter 5.2)
off
with the switching mode activated, all pro-
grammes adjusted with "off" are skipped.
1... 9s
dwell time in seconds for which the pro-
gramme remains activated in the switch-
ing mode
Hold = hold function
This function serves for extending the automatic
switching mode and cannot individually be activat-
ed for each programme.
14
If "Hold" is switched off, in the activated switching
mode the programmes for which a dwell time has
been adjusted are called one after the other.
If the unit is switched to "AV" in the line "Hold", in
the activated switching mode the receiver stops on
the programme, on the channel of which a perfect
picture is received. (If several video signals are
received at the same time, the unit is switched to
the picture received first.) If several transmitters
are used equipped with an automatic, movement-
controlled switch-on system (e. g. AV-3010TX from
MONACOR), the receiver is switched in case of
activated hold function to the transmitter which has
recognized a movement in the camera picture.
In the activated switching mode, with the setting
"SW", the receiver remains on the programme
space, on the channel of which a control signal is
received.
"AV" and "SW" can be selected at the same time.
If the hold function is activated, "On" is displayed in
the line "Auto" instead of the dwell time.

Minute = setting of date and time
2) To store changes for the present programme, keep
the button "OK" (7) pressed until the menu is extin-
guished (approx. 3 seconds).
Important! It is not possible to make the settings
for all programmes one after the other and to store
them together. It is only possible to store the set-
tings for the programme which is at present shown
in the menu.
3) To delete individual settings and to recall the fac-
tory setting, switch off the unit, keep the button
"OK" pressed, and at the same time switch on the
receiver.
4.3.2 Matching the video level
The video output level at the jacks "video" (12) and
"DIN-AV" (9) is adjusted to 1 Vpp according to stand-
ard. However, if the picture appears too bright or too
dark on the screen, match the level with the control
"video level" (4) by means of a screwdriver.
5 Operation
1) Switch on the receiver with the switch "power" (1).
The programme adjusted prior to the last switch-
ing-off is activated. The programme number is
shown in the display (2).
2) If several cameras are set up in the surveillance
system, it is possible to switch over to another
camera by selecting the corresponding programme
with the button "P+" or "P-" (6).
3) If the sound is picked up via the jacks "audio A"
(10) and "audio B" (11), the volume can be chan-
ged with the buttons "L-" and "L+" (5). [The volume
of the sound at the jack "DIN-AV" (9) cannot be
changed.]
