Problem
The Wi-Fi setup is not
successful.
The Wi-Fi light on my
coffee machine is not on
anymore.
Cause
The AquaClean water filter was
not prepared properly and air is
now drawn into the machine.
The water tank is not fully
inserted and air is drawn into
the machine.
The router your coffee machine
is trying to connect to is 5 GHz
dual-band and your coffee
machine is not trying to connect
to a 2.4 GHz network. 5 GHz
networks are not supported.
Your coffee machine is not
within range of the Wi-Fi router.
The size of your house and
other appliances can influence
the Wi-Fi quality.
The home network name is
misspelled.
The home Wi-Fi password is not
correct.
Your default network has
changed.
The Wi-Fi connectivity can be
interrupted by
electromagnetic or other
interferences.
Your mobile device is in airplane
mode
Another smart device
(smartphone or tablet) is trying
to pair to your coffee machine.
The coffee machine is not
connected to your home Wi-Fi
anymore or you have changed
your home Wi-Fi network.
Solution
Remove the AquaClean water filter from
the water tank and properly prepare it
for use before you place it back. See
chapter 'AquaClean water filter' for
step-by-step instructions.
Make sure the water tank is in the
correct position: remove it and insert it
again pushing it as far as possible.
Temporarily switch off the 5 GHz band
in your router and try to pair your coffee
machine again to another band of the
same router (2.4 GHz). Switch on your
5 GHz band again after successful
pairing.
Locate the coffee machine closer to the
Wi-Fi router.
Check if your home network name is
correct. The home network name is
case-sensitive.
Check if the home Wi-Fi password is
correct. The password is case-sensitive.
Retry the setup with the instructions in
section 'Resetting the Wi-Fi connection'.
Keep the appliance away from other
electronic devices that may cause
interferences.
Make sure to have the airplane mode
deactivated when connecting to the Wi-
Fi network.
You can pair only one smart device at
the same time to your coffee machine. If
a second user starts the pairing process,
the first user will be disconnected and
has to pair again the next time when
using the coffee machine.
Start the Wi-Fi setup process by
pressing the menu button in the
Coffee+ app and following the
instructions.
