STARTING YOUR GENERATOR (FOR LPG)
Before starting the generator:
1. Verify that the generator is outside on a dry, level surface. Allow at least two feet of clearance on all sides
of the generator.
2. To maximize safety, check that the generator is properly grounded (see "GROUND THE GENERATOR").
3. Check there is sufficient level of oil in the crankcase. Add oil if necessary (see "ADD/CHECK OIL").
4. Make sure all electrical devices are unplugged from the generator during ignition. Otherwise it will be
difficult for the engine to start.
To start the generator, perform the following steps:
- FOR LPG -
1. Connect the LPG gas hose to the propane fuel
source. Connect the small end of the LPG gas
hose to the LPG regulator on generator and then
snug with a wrench to prevent leakage. (Fig. 20).
2. Turn the MAIN switch to the "I" position.
Turn the LOW IDLE switch to "O". (Fig. 21)
3. Turn the FUEL SOURCE switch to the "LPG"
position. Rotate the LPG valve to open the LPG.

a. FOR BUTTON START: Turn and hold the
ENGINE START/STOP switch for 5 seconds
until the engine start. (Fig. 23)
b. FOR REMOTE-START: Turn and hold the
REMOTE START switch for 5 seconds until
the engine start. (Fig. 24)

c. FOR MANUAL START: Pull recoil handle
(starter cord) slowly until resistance is felt,
then pull rapidly. (Fig. 25)
