SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE WITH HOT LIQUIDS

Please be careful when hot liquids or foods are inserted into the
mixer or the lid is removed. Hot steam could leave the mixer unex-
pectedly. Never process boiling ingredients with this device.
Start operating the mixer on low speed and increase the speed
slowly to the desired level.
Always close the included lid firmly to prevent hot liquids or steam
from leaving the device.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The plastic jar should be cleaned and dried as follows after every use. Incor-
rect or insufficient cleaning of the device can impair the performance of the
high performance blender.
1. Clean the blades carefully and
take care not to injure yourself
with them while cleaning and
drying the plastic jar.
2. Power cord, plug, and motor must
be kept away from water. There is
danger of electric shocks.
3. Clean the plastic jar by filliing it up
to ¼ with warm water and a little
amount of mild detergent. Close
the plastic jar with the lid and
operate the mixer for 30 seconds.
Detach the container from the
motorblock and rinse it
afterwards. Repeat if necessary.
4. In order to clean the plastic jar
from persistent residues, rinse
the plastic jar and the detachable
parts in warm water with a mild
detergent. Plastic jar and small
parts are not dishwasher-safe.
5. Do not use scratching or rubbing
detergents.
6. Switch off the device before clea-
ning the case and pull the power
plug. Wipe the case with a moist
cloth.
