1. Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive.
2. Locate the X PatchRemote.zip archive on the CD.
3. Drag this archive to the Desktop and double click
it to un-pack it.
4. Drag the resulting X PatchRemote application to
your Applications folder; double click it to run it.
X-PatchRemote for Macintosh requires Java Version 5
or above to be present on your computer – J2SE5 is
included in OS X 10.4 and above.
To uninstall X-PatchRemote simply drag it to the
trash.

X-Patch User Guide included on the X-Patch CD or available for download from
PC
1. Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive.
2. Locate the X PatchSetup.exe file on the CD and
double click it to run the X-PatchRemote installer.
3. Follow the instructions in the installer application.
4. The installer will place a shortcut on the Desktop;
double click this shortcut to run X-PatchRemote.
X-PatchRemote for PC incorporates a suitable Java
Runtime Environment (JRE) and does not require any
version of Java to be pre-installed.
X-PatchRemote may be uninstalled by running the
uninstall application located in the X-Patch Remote
application folder.
