BAFFLE
„ Repeat on the opposite side of the mower.
„ Lift the deck and slide forward to detach the deck clip
from the J-hook.
„ Slide the deck out from under the mower.
INSTALLING THE BAFFLE
See figures 3 - 5.
„ Line the studs on the baffle with the holes on the under-
side of the deck as shown.
NOTE: The mulch baffle will only fit in the correct position.
„ Attach the baffle studs with the locknuts, tighten securely.
„ Reattach the cutting deck to the tractor, making sure to
reconnect the power cables.
INSTALLING THE MULCHING PLUG
See Figure 6.
NOTE: When using the mulching plug, do not install the
grass catcher.
„ Lift the side discharge chute.
„ Align the slot on the mulch plug with the tab on the deck.
„ Attached the straps on each side of the mulch plug to the
tabs on each side of the discharge opening.
„ Lower the side discharge chute.
„ Reinstall the start key when you are ready to mow.
