instructions also.

APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purpose listed below:
„ Turn your side discharge mower into a mulching mower
REMOVING THE CUTTING DECK
See figures 1 - 3.
WARNING:
Wear heavy gloves at all times while handling the cutting
deck. Keep hands and fingers clear of pinch points.
„ Move the mower to a level surface. Make sure the blade
engage knob is down.
„ Stop the motor, remove the start key, and set the park-
ing brake.
„ Move the deck height adjustment lever to the deck re-
lease position.
WARNING:
The cutting deck lift is spring-assisted and under tension.
Serious personal injury can occur if the spring-assisted
deck lift is released suddenly. Always use the deck release
position to secure the deck height adjustment lever in
place while removing or installing the deck. Always keep
hands and fingers below and away from deck lift.
„ Disconnect the power cables that connect the cutting
deck to the mower.
„ Pull the deck release handle out and rotate toward the
back of the mower.
NOTE: To release tension on the quick release handle,
it may be necessary to pull up on the front of the deck
while pulling the handle back. You may also place a 3 in.
high block of wood under the middle of the front edge
of the deck to release the tension. See Figure 2, A and
B for hand placement.
