and holding it firmly. Do not remove the filter
completely. Lift it only slightly and peel off the
label. Replace the filter in its holder by sliding it
downwards.

You can also remove the bucket from the
appliance prior to placing food in it. When put-
ting the bucket back into the appliance, align
the triangle on the bucket with the triangle on
the body of the appliance then fit the bucket
into the appliance by rotating it slightly in one
direction and then in the other to ensure that
they are correctly assembled.

and the lights will flash then switch off.

The biowaste reduction cycle consists of 3 steps
that occur automatically one after the other wit-
hout any intervention on your part:

Drying
: the waste is heated in order to
dehydrate it.
-
Grinding
: the dried waste is ground to
reduce its volume by about 85%.
-
Cooling
: This natural cooling cycle pre-
vents any risk of burns. The ventilation cycle
is triggered and lasts throughout the cooling
phase.
At each stage, the corresponding light is displayed.
The total cycle lasts between 4 and 8 hours, depen-
ding on the quality and moisture content of the
waste. This is managed by the appliance.
9. When the entire waste reduction cycle is complete,
the appliance will beep and all lights will switch
off.
10. unplug the power cord.
tHe Pause function
You can pause your appliance to add waste when
it is already in operation. however, we recommend
that you do this only during the first half hour of
operation (that is the drying period). After that, the
food may not be properly dried and ground by the
appliance. Moreover, the drying time, and therefore
the total operating time, would be increased.
11. unlock and open the lid.
12. Remove the bucket and dispose of the residue.
For this, please refer to the section entitled "What
should i do with the residue?".
important remarks
- The bucket handle is covered with a sheath. As
the appliance and the area around the bucket
are hot, we advise you to use a potholder to
avoid burning yourself.
- At any time during the reduction cycle, you
can stop the appliance by pressing
for 3
seconds. in this case, you will need to start a
new waste reduction cycle.
- if the appliance has not successfully reduced
some of the waste because it is too big, cut
it into smaller pieces (about 2 to 3 cm), put
it back into the bucket with a new batch of
bio-waste and start a new cycle.
NOTE
Depending on the type of food that is put in
the bucket, the surface coating of the bucket
may be damaged (hard or sharp food). This is
normal wear and tear and has no effect on the
performance of the appliance.
To pause the appliance:
