• The chainsaw may only be used in a completely assembled state. No protective de-
vices may be missing.
• Wear suitable working clothes, i.e. protective glasses, protective means for ears, non-
slippery shoes and working gloves. Do not wear broad clothes which could be caught
by the moving parts.
• When working, keep the cutter away from your body and extremities.
• Do not start the tool when it is not in the operating position.
• Keep people and animals away from the cutting blade.
• During work breaks put the machine down in such a manner that nobody is at risk.
Withdraw the
plug.
• All parts of the appliance must be regularly checked for any damage or aging. The ap-
pliance must not be used if not in a perfect state.
• Only operate the tool during broad daylight or with adequate artificial light
• Never use the tool when it is raining. Try to prevent it from getting wet or being exposed
to humidity. Do not leave it outside overnight.
• For safety reasons, replace parts that are worn out or damaged. Only use original
spare parts and accessories.
• Before putting the appliance into operation and after any impact, check it for any signs
of wear or damage and have any necessary repairs executed.
• Never use spare parts and accessory equipment not specified or recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Make sure that other items do not cause short circuit on the appliance contacts.
• A tingling feeling or numbness in the hands is sign of excessive vibration. Limit the
operating time, take sufficiently long work breaks, distribute the work between several
people or wear anti-vibration gloves when using the tool for extended periods.
• A certain degree of noise from this device is unavoidable. Perform noise-intensive
work at times when this is permitted and at times intended for this type of work. Where
applicable, observe quiet times and limit working time to the absolute minimum. You
and other persons in the area where the trimmer is being used should wear suitable
hearing
protection.
• This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
• A circuit breaker with a fault current of 30 mA or less is necessary when working out-
doors.
• Operate the machine in the recommended position and only on a firm, level surface.
• Before using the equipment clear the working area of any foreign objects and be aware
of foreign objects during operation of the machine!
• Do not cut near flammable liquids or gases.
• Defective chains must be immediately replaced.
• The pole saw has been designed for cutting wood. Do not use the pole saw for any
other purposes. Do not use the saw for cutting items that are not wooden. Only use
extension cables that are suitable for outdoor use.
• Do not use the pole saw if the pole or saw is damaged, wrongly calibrated or assem-
