Using the Appliance
1. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and switched
off.
2. Pull the frying basket out of the appliance using the
handle.
3. Put the strainer insert into the appliance if needed. Push
the strainer insert down all the way.
4. Slide the frying basket back into the appliance. It must
engage.
5. Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed
socket.
6. Turn on the appliance with the switch. The control lamp
lights up. You can select a cooking time.
7. Turn the temperature controller to the desired temperature.
NOTE:
• When the set temperature is reached, the control
lamp goes out.
• It switches on and off during operation. This is
normal and it indicates that the temperature is con-
trolled by the thermostat and is being maintained.
8. Pull the frying basket out of the appliance using the
handle.
9. Place the frying basket on a heat-resistant surface.
10. Fill the frying basket with the desired food.
11. Slide the frying basket back into the appliance.

WARNING:
Hot steam can escape!
If necessary, shake the food after half the cooking time.
To do this, pull out the frying basket using the handle.
13. Slide the frying basket back into the appliance.
End of Operation
1. A beep sounds when the set time has expired.
NOTE:
You can also abort the operation by setting the timer
to the 0 position.
2. Pull out the frying basket using the handle.
3. Put the food in a heatproof bowl.
4. Slide the frying basket back into the appliance.
WARNING:
• Always turn the appliance off before cleaning it and remove the
mains plug. Wait until the appliance has cooled down.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water! Doing so may result in
an electric shock or fire.
