QUICK-FIX
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARATION
1. Check the right angle (90°) between wall and fl oor. If there is any deviati-
on, use waterproof fl oor-levelling compound. Please observe the manufac-
turer's instructions regarding drying time and application.
2. Measure the length of the wall by laying a loose row of glass blocks on a
long QUICK-FIX profi le (without adhesive).
Place the short profi les between the individual glass blocks.
If necessary, shorten the long profi le or add another one.
3. If possible, glue the fl oor and wall strips one day before the glass blocks
so that you have a good working surface.
PLEASE NOTE
1. Remember that glass blocks are a glass product and must be handled
with care. For example, avoid placing glass on glass and working glass
blocks with a hammer or other impact tools. If you work slowly and carefully,
you will be more satisfi ed with the result!
2. To achieve a complete hardening of our special SRT adhesive, it should
be fi nely „dusted" with water.
3. Cover any barcodes on the white glass block bars by laying the glass
blocks up to eye level with the barcodes facing upwards (approx. 7-8 rows).
Lay the remaining glass blocks with the barcodes facing down.
4. For the assembly of corner glass blocks, you must cut the profi les to
miter. The same applies to the installation of e.g. half glass blocks (9x19x8
cm).
5. The glass blocks are laid directly on the grease-free and dust-free subst-
rate (e.g. tiles). With QUICK-FIX, drilling is no longer necessary.
6. The maximum allowable dimension of a wall fi xed on both sides is 200
x 200 cm proportionally. Dimensions of 180 x 220 cm are therefore also
possible.
7. Make sure the surface you build on suppports the weight of glass blocks.
