DANGER – electric shock hazard
■
Only use and store the device in enclosed rooms. Do not use the device in rooms
with high humidity.
■
Never immerse the motor unit and the connecting cable in water or other liquids, and
ensure that they do not fall into water or become wet.
■
Should the motor unit fall into the water, immediately disconnect the power supply.
Do not try to pull the device out of the water while it is connected to the power supply
system!
■
Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned, been dropped or fallen into water. Have
it checked by a specialist workshop before using it again.
■
Never touch the motor unit and the connecting cable with wet hands when these
components are connected to the power supply system.
WARNING – risk of injury
■
Risk of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from packaging materials.
■
Risk of strangulation! Make sure that the power cord is always out of reach of
small children and animals.
■
Risk of injury caused by rotating parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair and other
body parts away from the device so nothing can get caught in rotating parts of the
device.
■
Risk of burns! Never fi ll the cutting container and the measuring cup with hot food
or liquids! The contents must not be warmer than 50 °C.
■
Risk of falling! Make sure that the connected power cord is not a tripping hazard.
The power cord must not hang down from the installation surface, in order to prevent
the device from tearing down.
WARNING – fi re hazard
■
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily fl ammable or explosive substances.
■
Do not operate the device near fl ammable material. Do not place fl ammable materi-
als (e. g. cardboard, paper, plastic) on or into the device.
■
Do not cover the device during operation, to avoid the device catching fi re. Ensure
adequate ventilation while the device is in operation.
NOTICE – risk of material and property damage
■
Connect the device only to a correctly installed socket. The socket must also be
easily accessible after connection, so that the network connection can be quickly
disconnected. The mains voltage must match the type plate of the device. Only use
proper extension cords with the same technical data as the device.
■
Ensure that the power cord is not crushed, kinked or laid over sharp edges, and that
it does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■
Switch off the device and disconnect the mains plug from the socket if an error oc-
curs during operation or before a thunderstorm.
■
When pulling the mains plug out of the socket, always pull on the mains plug and
never on the power cord.
