Playing a disc

Open the monitor and adjust the tilt and
sw ivel.

Press (POWER) to turn on the player.
The monitor turns on and the green light of
the POWER switch on the player lights up.

Insert the disc (labeled side up) into the
player.
POWER
SEARCH
Playback starts automatically.
If a disc is already inserted or playback does
not start automatically, press u to start
playback.

Press (VOL) (+) or (VOL) (–) on the card
remote commander to adjust the
volume.

Press (POWER) so that the green light of the
POWER switch on the player turns off.

Turn off the player and disconnect the power
cord from the power source.
Not e on using t he player in t he car
Using the player while the ignition key is in
ACC position and the engine is stopped may
cause the car battery to run down.
Notes
• Even w hen t he player is t urned of f , you can eject
a disc f rom t he player, t hough you cannot insert
a disc.
• Read t he inst ruct ion manual supplied w it h t he
disc t o play w it h t his player.
• When you play an 8-cm disc (e.g., CD-single), be
sure t o insert it t o t he cent er area of t he disc slot .
• Depending on t he recording met hod used on t he
disc, it may t ake a minut e or more bef ore
playing.
• Depending on t he condit ion of t he disc, it may
not play back (page 32).
• A high-bit rat e M P3 f ile such as 320 kbps may not
play back properly.
