7. Additional Display Indications
During charge/discharge, further indications (battery information)
can be selected using the Dec/Inc buttons.
Press the DEC/INC buttons to
select the battery type.
Press the DEC/INC buttons to set
all the values. Hold the START/
ENTER button pressed for 2 sec. to
save the settings.
All the values saved will be shown
in the display.
Press the START/ ENTER button
and use START/DEC to select the
memory.
Hold the START/ENTER button
pressed for 2 sec. to start the
program.

Changing the standard settings
The standard settings of the charger can be changed by the user.
Press the ESC/MODE button to access the PROGRAMM/SELECT
menu and select "User Set".
Press the START/ ENTER button to access the selection menu.
Using the "Dec./Inc" and "Start/Enter" buttons, all settings can be
changed.
Precharge time
During precharge, the charging current is kept low to care for the
battery.
This is chiefly for use with old or too deeply discharged batteries.
NiMh/NiCd delta peak sensitivity
This sets the sensitivity with which the charger detects that the
battery is fully charged.
Use a higher value if the battery does not get fully charged.
Use a lower value if the battery becomes too hot during charging.
Standard value: 7mV/ NiMH and 12 mV/ NiCd
Cycle delay
To avoid overheating of the battery during charging, a pause (Wait
Time) between charge/discharge cycles can be set.
Safety timer
Charging is stopped as soon as the set time has passed, whether or
not the battery is already fully charged.
Capacity switch-off
Here, the capacity (mAh value) to which the battery has been
charged is checked.
Charging is stopped as soon as the set value is reached, whether or
not the battery is already fully charged.
