Switching gears
Depending on the position of the switch, you can
work either with a higher or with a lower number of
revolutions. To avoid damage to the transmission,
gears should only be shifted in the off state.
Led light
The LED light (10) enables the illumination of the
place
screwing, or drilling in adverse light conditions. The
LED light (10) lights up automatically as soon as the
on/off switch (4) is pressed.
Tips for work
For drilling large diameter holes, it is sometimes
better to start with a smaller drill bit and then finish
the hole with a drill bit of the required size. This will
prevent the tools from being overloaded.
If the drill jams, turn off the device immediately to
prevent permanent damage. Try to loosen the chuck
to remove the drill.
Keep the drill parallel to the hole. If the angle changes
during drilling, it could cause the drill to break, block
the hole and possibly cause injury.
When drilling in bricks or concrete, it is necessary to
use video drills and drills equipped with the hammer
function.
Screwing self-tapping screws
It is recommended to drill a guide hole first, a little
longer and a little smaller than the diameter of the
screw to be inserted in the hole. The hole will serve
as a guide for the screw and will also make it easier
to tighten the screws. When the screws are placed
close to the edge of the material, the guide hole will
also serve to prevent wood splitting.
Use the correct countersunk drill that matches the
screw head so that they do not protrude above the
surface.
If it is too stressful to screw in the screw, remove it
and try to drill a slightly larger hole, but remember
that there must be enough material left to fasten the
screw! If you want to screw in the screw again, insert
it into the hole and make the first few turns by hand.
If the screw is still difficult (eg in the case of very hard
wood), try using a lubricant (eg liquid soap).
Maintain sufficient pressure on the bolt to prevent the
screwdriver bit from slipping off its head. The screw
head could be damaged, making it difficult to screw in
or remove the screw in the future.
Troubleshooting
1. The switch cannot be pressed: The switch cannot
be pressed when the travel direction switch is in the
locked position. Move it to the "forward" or "back"
position and try pressing again.
2. The switch is pressed, but the cordless drill does
not work: The cordless drill needs a sufficiently
charged battery to work. If you do not use the
cordless drill for a long time, the battery will run out.
Try recharging the battery. Make sure the battery in
the charger is positioned correctly. The adapter heats
up during charging, which is normal.
3. Battery is leaking: At extreme temperatures or
under extreme stress, small leaks may occur. If you
touch the liquid, immediately wash it off the skin or
clothes with soap and water.
4. The battery does not charge and the light on
the charger does not light up: If the battery does
not charge, check that it is inserted correctly in the
charger and make sure that the light is on. If it is not
lit, check that the charger plug is correctly inserted in
the socket. If so, check the socket fuse.
5. The body of the drill heats up with prolonged use:
Under normal load, the body, the battery switch, heats
up because the energy consumed during drilling
produces heat. It's normal. Simply let the drill cool
down for a few minutes.
6. The battery heats up during use: The energy
pumped from the battery generates heat. It does not
damage the battery, the heat of energy is normal. If
you want to cool the battery, simply leave the drill off
for a few minutes before continuing.
7. The battery heats up while charging: This is normal
and results from chemical reactions taking place
inside the battery during the charging process.
8. During charging, the charger heats up: This is
normal and results from a reduction in voltage from
230 V to 12 V.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
! Always remove the battery from the tool before
cleaning and maintenance.
Your tool requires no additional lubrication or
maintenance. There are no parts that you can repair.
Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your
tools. Wipe it with a dry cloth.
Keep the motor fan vents clean.
Never clean any part of the tool with a hard, sharp or
rough object.
Storage when not used for a long time
Do not store the tool in a place where the temperature
is high.
If possible, store the tool in a place with a constant
temperature and humidity.
