9. TRANSPORT
The machines in question shall be supplied in suitable packaging to ensure proper protection during all
stages of transport. If, on receipt of the goods, the packaging is damaged, it is necessary to ensure that
the machine has not been damaged during transport and that it has not been tampered with. In the event
of damage to the equipment or if any part of the machine is found to be missing, the transporter and the
manufacturer must be notified immediately and the corresponding photographic documentation must
be provided. Materials used to protect the equipment during transport must be disposed of using the
disposal channels existing in the country of destination.
10. LIFTING AND MOVING
For all lifting and moving operations, the operator must use the minimum personal protective equipment
required for the operations to be carried out (safety footwear, gloves and protective helmet).
Machines with a weight of more than 25 kg must be moved using suitable moving systems with a capa-
city greater than the weight of the machine to be handled (see the weight indicated on the packaging).
If it is necessary to use belts for handling the machine, these must be in good condition and must be of
adequate strength for the weight of the machine to be handled.
Pumps weighing < 25 kg may be lifted manually by the operator without the aid of lifting gear.
11. STORAGE
The equipment must always be stored in covered places, not excessively humid, protected from atmos-
pheric agents and with temperatures between -10°C and 40°C, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight. If
the machine is to be stored for long periods, it is advisable not to remove it from its packaging.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
1. Replace them
2. Minimise the number of bends in the hose.
3. Remove the blockage. Place a cement
block under the pump to prevent it from
sucking up sediment.
4. Swap power supply connection terminals.
To replace the bearings, contact the supplier
who supplied the equipment.
