BEFORE YOU START
☑ Prepare Concrete Ceiling (if applicable)
Drill four Ø 8 mm holes in top of mounting bracket cover in the marked locations
(Fig. 1). Use mounting bracket cover as drilling template and drill four Ø 8 mm holes
in concrete ceiling. The hole depth should not exceed 40 mm (Fig. 2).
Remove dust from holes. Insert four M6 anchor bolts* into holes. Strike the heads
of the anchor bolts with a hammer, ensuring bolt sleeves are flush with ceiling
surface. Secure mounting bracket cover to mounting bracket. Make sure round
cutout on side of cover is aligned with tab on bracket (see page 7). Position
mounting bracket on anchor bolts (Fig. 3). Ensure all anchor bolts are fully
tightened to expand and lock the anchors.
If required by local building and safety codes, install an M6 anchor hook* for the
safety cable. Drill an Ø 8 mm hole for the anchor hook. The hole depth should not
exceed 50 mm (Fig. 2). Remove dust from hole, and then insert the anchor hook
and fully tighten.
