MAINTENANCE (Report to leaflet N° 2907642FT)

•
Check after introduction to service.
o Check the torque load on the screws after 1000 km and 2000 km, if necessary tighten up to the
indicated torque load, always working in the prescribed order (see page 9)
o Periodically check the torque loading of the attaching screws during the carrier vehicle
maintenance operations. Check the condition of the coupling and clean the clevis, the pin and
remove any old grease remaining.
o Check the diameter of the pin for the minimum Ø authorized after wear: 46.5 mm.

Replace the hardware if the coupling has to be removed (class 10.9)
•
To prevent the pin from seizing, periodically clean it with care to remove old grease, dust and other
components from the surroundings of the pin.
•
If the product is not to be used temporarily on the vehicle, operate the opening mechanism once per
month.
•
Grease the pin / ring contact area moderately.
