Why the Pool Canopy clamps are sliding, moving around or will not grip firmly onto the
pool horizontal top beams?
The Pool Canopy clamps shall be installed over the pool liner horizontal top sleeves as they
provide better gripping surface. Do not install over the frame structure T-joints.
How to winterize the canopy?
Remove the canopy assembly from the frame pool and use a sponge and clean water to wipe
away any soil or stains on the canopy. Store the canopy and accessories in a dry, temperature
controlled between 0º – 40ºC (32º – 104ºF) storage location. The original packing can be used
for storage.
Which water return connector should I connect the sprayer to, since there are two water
return connectors on my 12'x24'x48" rectangular metal frame pool liner?
Either one works fine. After connecting the sprayer to a water return connector, remember to
insert the flow reduction adapter into the strainer on the other water return connector. This will
provide a good water flow rate to the sprayer.
Can I use the sprayer with other filter pump brands?
No. We do not recommend the sprayer on filter pumps other than INTEX models. The joints
may not fit correctly and the pressure may be too high, causing damage to the product and / or
personal injury.
Why my LED pool light with hydroelectric power cannot be lit on or keeps blinking
(28691/28692)?
The LED light is powered by the pump water flow that drives the built-in hydroelectric
generator, no batteries or external power source is needed. The problem is caused by insufficient
pump water flow rate. Follow these steps for troubleshooting. 1) Make sure the LED light is
connected to the upper pool return water inlet fitting. 2) Clean any dirt on the light head opening
with a garden hose. 3) Clean or replace the filter cartridge/sand media. 4) The required flow rate
for 28691 is 450-1,200GPH (1703-4542LPH), for 28692 is 1,200 – 2.500GPH (4542-9463LPH).
Make sure your pump flow rate meets the requirement. 5) Check and remove any accessories
such as solar mat, sprayer, skimmer and/or vacuum devices from the filtration system circulation
line. 6) Make sure all the pump hoses are not twisted or curled up.
Can we leave the canopy on pool after assembled? What is the maximum wind speed the
Pool Canopy can withstand?
Remove canopy and store properly when not in use or in the presence of strong winds,
thunderstorms, heavy rain or snow. The canopy will withstand winds up to 19 km/h (12
miles/hour).
