5.1 CONNECTION AND STARTING UP
Unpack the instrument, the power supply unit, the calibration solution, and the
operating manual.
Connect the conductivity cell (not supplied with the instrument) to the "cell" jack
(BNC connector on the back of the instrument).
Connect the power supply unit to the "power supply" connector.
(The CSD 22 must be used only with the power supply unit provided).
5.2 ADJUSTMENT AND MEASUREMENT OF THE CONDUCTIVITY
We recommend adjusting the cell using a reference solution in the same range as
the solution to be measured.
Example : 0,1 mol.L
Set the range switch to: 20 mS
Immerse the cell in the 0,1 mol.L
Use the "Cell coefficient" knob to adjust the display to the value given by the table
below as a function of the temperature of the solution.
Rinse the cell in distilled water.
Immerse the cell in the medium to be analyzed.
5.3 RECORDER OUTPUT
The recorder output is on the back of the instrument.
