- If no operation is performed within about 10 seconds,
the hob will switch off automatically.
- To switch off the hob even if the cooking zones are
on, press "H"; an acoustic signal will sound and the
appliance will switch off.
• Key function:
To prevent the hob from being used by children or
people requiring supervision, all functions can be
locked by performing the following procedure:
1- To activate the function, press "G" for 1 second and
indicator "N2" will light up.
- If the hob is switched off with the KEY function active,
the next time it is switched on, the hob will be in the
same condition, i.e. with the KEY function active.
- If the hob is on and the key function is active, keys
"H and G" will still work.
Switching on the cooking zones:
- It is possible to switch on a cooking zone by pressing
"D" and the power level will be shown on the display
"M".
- To adjust the desired power level, slide your finger
from left to right or place your finger on a specific
position on the slider "F"; the power level ranges from
0 to 9.
- If you want a power greater than 9, press "E" and the
booster function will be activated and a P will appear
on the display "M".
- If no operation is performed within about 5 seconds,
an acoustic signal will sound and the display shade
will go back to the initial one. The hob will continue
to cook normally.
- It is not possible to switch on any cooking zone when
the Key function is active.
Safety switch-o
The appliance features a safety system that
automatically switches o the cooking zones after
the on-time limit at a certain power has elapsed.

Power limitation:
The version with 5 cooking zones is equipped with a
7200, 6000, 4500, 3600, 3100, 2800, 2300, 2200, 2100,
2000, 1900, 1800, 1700, 1600, 1500 or 1400 Watt power
limitation system.
It is possible to con gure the product by performing
the following operations:
- Disconnect and reconnect the appliance from the
mains.
- Press "G" within about 30 seconds after reconnecting
it to the mains.
- Press keys "B - C and H" simultaneously.
- After hearing the acoustic signal "BEEP", "Po " will
appear on display "M7" and the hob power level code
will appear on displays "M1 e M2".
- Press "G" to change the hob power and all the possible
hob level settings will be displayed in sequence.

- When the desired power has been set, press keys
"B - C and H" simultaneously.
- The hob is set to the desired power.
- To change the power again, repeat the entire
procedure.
- If no operation is performed or if no key other than
"G" is pressed within 60 seconds, the changes are
not made.
Timer
This function allows you to set the time (from 1 to 99
minutes) for the automatic switch-off of the selected
cooking zone. The user can simultaneously program
all cooking zones at any power level (1...P).
- To activate it, first select a cooking zone "D" and, by
pressing keys "B or C" briefly, the cooking zone power
must be greater than 0.
- Press keys "B or C" on display "M7": the value "00" will
flash and an acoustic signal will sound, while indicator
"P" of the zone where the timer is active will flash.
- Then press "F" to select a power level (the timer
option is not active if the power is 0).
- Set the time using keys "B" or "C", up to a maximum
of 99 minutes; an acoustic signal will sound.
- To scroll quickly through the displayed digits, press
and hold one of the two keys "B" or "C".
- Press "B" to take the time directly to 99; press "C" to
take it from 99 to 00.
- The timer will start running about 5 seconds after
the last operation is performed using keys "B or C";
an acoustic signal will sound and display "M7" and
indicator "P" will stop flashing when the power level
is selected.
