• Never use the appliance in a humid room.

• M ake sure that your hands are dry before touching the appliance,
power cord or plug.
• Make sure that objects cannot contact the fan blades.
• S witch off the appliance and remove the plug from the wall socket
in the event of a malfunction during use, and before cleaning the
appliance or storing it after use.
• R emove the plug from the wall socket immediately should the
appliance fall in water. Do not use the appliance any more.
• N ever immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or
other liquid.

operATIon - before use for the first time
Remove the fan from the packaging.
operATIon - Assembling the fan
1. Screw the base (figure 1) to the base plate (figure 1) with a crosshead screwdriver.
2. Unscrew the locking ring (see figure 2A on the next page) from the shaft.
3. Fit the rear of the fan housing (2B) onto the motor-housing (2C), making sure that the openings are
aligned precisely with the lugs on the motor housing and that the grip is at the top.
4. Slide the locking ring (2A) onto the shaft, and screw it tight (clockwise).
5. Slide the fan blades (2D) onto the shaft, making sure that the notches are aligned precisely with the two
keys on the shaft and place the fixing knob (2E) on the shaft.
6. T he rim (2F) has clamps. Carefully fit the rim around the rear half of the fan housing, making sure that the
housing falls into the upper clamp of the rim, so that you can connect the two halfs of the fan housing with
