Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION!
• Let the product cool completely before cleaning and
storing it away.
• Make sure the charcoal has fully burnt and cooled before
removing the ashes and storing away the product.
• Under no circumstances should solvents, chemical or
abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects
or scouring pads be used to clean the product, as these
could permanently damage its varnish.
• Do not pour cold water on hot surfaces or directly onto
the embers to extinguish them, as this could crack the
varnish and damage the product. Furthermore, the
generated steam could also burn you. Gradually use
old ashes, sand or a fine spray of water to extinguish
the embers.
• Clean the product before first use and after each use.
• Regularly check the barbecue to ensure that none of the screws
or bolts are loose, and if necessary, tighten them.
