Assembly
NOTE:
•
We recommend that you lay out all the barbecue parts next to the assembly
area.
•
Never use excessive force during assembly or when tightening screws/bolts,
as this may damage the product.
•
When assembling parts with multiple nuts or bolts, we recommend loosely
inserting them first, and then, once that particular section of the barbecue
has been assembled, using light pressure to tighten all the hardware.
•
Only tighten all the screws once assembly is complete, as any material
shrinkage may interfere with the final assembly.
Before first use
•
Clean the product ( CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE).
•
Place the product on a stable, flat and non-slip surface.
•
Position the product at least 2 metres away from any flammable objects, such as wooden
fences or garden furniture, and at least 15 cm away from any walls.
Using the barbecue
This barbecue can be used to cook meat, seafood, fish and vegetables al fresco.
WARNING: RISK OF BURNS / CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING / FIRE
•
Never use the barbecue indoors or in an enclosed space, as there is a risk
of carbon monoxide poisoning.
•
Never use any kind of ignition fluid to start or rekindle a fire.
•
To avoid burns, do not touch any part of the barbecue while it is in use or
cooling down. Use protective gloves, such as oven mitts, when using the unit.
•
Never move the barbecue while it is hot. Allow the unit to cool before moving it.
•
Do not use excessive oil or grease when barbecuing food. Too much oil or
grease can produce larger-than-normal flames or even an out-of-control
barbecue fire. If necessary, use a basting brush to apply a thin layer of oil
or grease to food.
